Julia
has been singing jazz for the past 15 years alongside her work in
the pop industry and in theatre, television and films.
From rock and pop vocals to resident jazz singer at The
Dorchester Hotel, Mayfair, Julia has covered it all, even reaching
number two in Tower Records in Japan on an album of football
songs!
Working across the board, with stars as
diverse as Sir Elton John and Sir John Gielgud, Julia has worked
in the West End of London in shows including Les Misérables
and The Music Man, on various television and film projects
and recorded both backing and lead vocals on many albums.
Julia
has achieved a great amount of respect on the jazz circuit, performing alongside top class, jazz musicians including: Alan
Barnes, Julian Marc Stringle, Derek Nash, Dave Gelly, Dave
Shepherd, Roy Williams, Digby Fairweather, Campbell Burnap
and Enrico Tomasso
and has performed at countless jazz venues and festivals

In
2005, Julia independently released her debut album, Don’t Talk
To Me Of Love, a selection of superbly arranged standards and
original material which was launched with her Little Big Band at
Pizza on the Park, Knightsbridge London and is available at HMV,
Virgin and all good records stores.
